PRSW, Inc. staff periodically give workshops on all aspects of the study of natural soils and shallow groundwater hydrology, including:
Low Impact Development strategies
Soil erosion and compaction control
Slope stability and wetland interpretations
Interpretation of soil characteristics for septic system design

 

 

 

PRSW, Inc. has also been involved on a volunteer basis:
in stream revegetation projects (sponsored by King County SWM and Ecology Centennial Grants)
as Stream Team children’s summer camp educators
as New Horizons workshop educators (for young girls interested in math and science)
as presenters/educators for many wetlands and soils tours
in City of Olympia Ad Hoc committees developing policy and ideas about reducing impervious surfaces and water management.
